At Arise Behavioral Health, we offer flexible appointment options to accommodate your needs and preferences. Whether you prefer in-person visits or virtual sessions, we strive to make accessing care as convenient as possible.
For those who prefer face-to-face interaction, we offer in-person appointments at our office. This option provides a comfortable and private setting to meet directly with your provider.
If you are unable to attend in person, phone call appointments allow you to connect with your provider from wherever you are. This is a great option for those who prefer a simple, voice-only session.

In order to have an efficient and orderly practice, we request your consideration of your provider’s time by asking that you give us 24 hours’ notice if you cannot attend a scheduled appointment. This allows other clients that are waiting for a cancellation to be notified. We understand that sometimes situations arise that are out of your control, and 24-hour advance notices may not be feasible. However, in these situations, we ask that you notify the office as soon as possible. Failure to provide notice may result in missed appointment fees.
It is our goal to provide medication refills in a timely manner, however, we expect our clients to participate in their care to the extent necessary to achieve our goal. To avoid any lapse in medication therapy, refill requests should be made 72 hours before your medications run out as it may take 48 hours for us to refill a script for you. You may make a refill request by phone, leaving a detailed message on our refill line, by email, by text, or by speaking with our staff.
We understand that paperwork requests are an important part of managing your care. To request paperwork from our practice, you must be an active client who has been receiving services for at least 90 days. Active clients are expected to attend scheduled appointments consistently, with minimal no-shows or cancellations.
Paperwork requests are processed within 10 days after receiving the completed request form. For clients with commercial insurance, a $25 fee will be charged once the paperwork is completed. Payment must be settled with the billing team before the document can be sent.

Government regulations may play a role in the frequency of your appointments. In Maryland and at the federal level, certain medications require monthly appointments for proper monitoring and compliance. If your treatment includes one of these medications, we will help ensure your appointments are scheduled accordingly.
